Our Mission
We’re breaking the silence on child hunger.
Nutritious food is a necessity — not a luxury. SCAN is leading the fight to end child hunger by building relationships with lawmakers, activating our network of grassroots advocates and supporting sustainable solutions for the world’s hardest-to-reach communities.
No child should go hungry, yet too many kids in Tennessee can’t access food at school. Tennessee lawmakers are considering legislation that would expand free school lunches. Tell lawmakers to say Yes to school meals!

1 in 6 children are facing hunger in Iowa, but the USDA has cancelled millions of dollars of funding to support local food purchases. Send a message: Fighting hunger must be a budget priority in Iowa.
